Position Overview: The Head of Key Account Management will lead and oversee the Key Account Management department, focusing on expanding and maintaining relationships with strategically important and large customers. This role is pivotal in driving the company's growth by ensuring customer satisfaction, achieving sales targets, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
1. Lead the Key Account Management team, providing direction, mentorship, and support.
2. Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
3. Drive the development of account-specific growth strategies and initiatives.
Customer Relationship Management:
1. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers.
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
3. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer value and drive business growth.
Performance Management:
1. Set performance objectives, sales targets, and critical milestones for the team.
2. Monitor and analyze key account performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
3. Ensure the team meets or exceeds assigned targets for profitable sales volume and overall business objectives.
Collaboration and Coordination:
1. Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
2. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to address customer needs and achieve business goals.
3. Represent the full spectrum of Iberdrola's products and services to key accounts.
Revenue Maximization:
1. Maximize revenues from sales of the organization's products and services, including SMEs and residential sales, through a base of reseller partners in specific assigned channels and/or vertical markets.
2. Select channel partners and support them throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions, and training to achieve revenue targets.
3. May include real estate residential sales coordination.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Proven experience in key account management, sales, or a related role, preferably in the energy sector.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
7. Knowledge in Power Purchase Agreements (PPA).
8. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Fluency in German and English.
