Your role : An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our company as Director, Group Head of Digital HR, User Experience and Enablement. As part of the Global People Data & Technology team, you will contribute to establishing data & technology as THE enabler for People Solutions to drive high business impact and best-in-class employee experience. Primary you will support the definition of People Data & Technology priorities derived from the global HR strategy, lead and orchestrate data & technology innovation trend scouting across HR and participate to overall Global People Data & Technology strategic portfolio management. You act as overall HR point of contact for IT to develop and drive our companies HR digital strategy, roadmap, architecture and different aspects of implementation across our global People Data & Technology workstreams (eg. Core Employee Lifecycle, Reporting and Analytics, Cognitive Assistants,…). Reporting to the Global Head of People Data & Technology, you will lead and develop a highly engaged team who ensures that we leverages existing People Data & Technologies to their maximum, bring a focus on integration and infrastructure evolutions. You will implement impactful unified employee user experience approaches and KPIs across HR, oversee people data and technology launches in collaboration with many areas in our company such as the Data & Technology workstream owners, HR experts, IT and Business Service areas. You will play a key role in ensuring that digital platform knowledge and enablement are fit for purpose, create a strategic overview of all people data and technology related third party vendors and functionalities used, acts as overall HR point of contact for vendor escalations and strategic negotiations, in close collaboration with HR/IT/procurement experts, and in-line with our IT procurement vendor strategy. The position can be based in EMEA region. Who you are : Master's degree / PhD holder ideally in either Digital, HR, IT or Business Administration Minimum 5 years of working experience related to building and implementing Digital HR strategies and transformations at regional or global levels in matrix organizations 3-5 years of global leadership experience in international teams, demonstrating success positions with Senior Leadership exposure and highly cross-functional collaboration environments Demonstrated success in implementing high-business impact digital solutions, best-in-class employee user experience, with a strong innovation and end-user mindset Strong knowledge related to data and technologies architecture, infrastructures (middleware and front-end),technology implementation such as for example SAP SuccessFactors, Tableau, SNOW, Visier, other cognitive assistant platforms Ability to develop practices collaboratively with Business Stakeholders and key functions such as IT, Data Governance, Data Privacy Offices, Works Councils, Business Services Ability to bridge strategic views, governance, innovation and efficiency topics to accelerate our Digital HR transformation at Merck Customer-oriented, data-driven, pragmatic problem-solving and tech-savvy mindset with a strong outcome focus and an attention to detail Fluent in English mandatory, German ideal What we offer: With us, there are always opportunities to break new ground.
