Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Academic Team at Business Faculty in Berlin on a full- time position/40 hour a week, who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and staff.
The opportunity:
In full time (part-time upon request). You should be able to demonstrate great knowledge in the field of Psychology as well as experience in teaching students from various cultures.
Key tasks and Responsibilities:
* Conducting introductory and in-depth courses in the areas of Psychology (Bachelor and Master)
* Specializations or interest in Environmental Psychology or Human-machine-interaction are welcome
* Advising and supervising students
* Grading student work, supervising seminars, projects, bachelor, master and doctoral theses
* Establishment of partnerships with companies and institutions for the further networking of the university in Berlin
* Planning and implementation of research projects including publication activities
* Administrative activities and committee work
* Advising prospective students
Your profile
Your profile:
* Several years of teaching experience at universities in different fields of psychology
* Ability to teach courses in in the broad field of psychology
* Ability to teach courses in English and German language
* If possible: professional training or work experiences in the field of coaching
* Publication and research activities desired
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Organizational skills and eagerness to work together to advance the success and growth of the university
* Choosing Berlin as your home base
Requirements for professorship:
* Completed university studies in Psychology or a related subject
* Proof of extraordinary qualification for scientific work in the form of an outstanding doctorate and/or outstanding scientific publications
* Qualified professional experience in the field of the professorship, at least three years, two of them outside of a university

The hiring requirements for professorship are based on the provisions of §41 of the university law of the Federal State of Brandenburg/Germany. The award of the title Professor by the University of Applied Sciences of Europe is contingent on the approval of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Culture of the Federal State of Brandenburg/Germany.
