About The Role
Are you an experienced Director of Product development and Marketing looking for a new challenge with leading global semiconductor business? We are recruiting for a Senior Director of Product with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and drive business and product strategies for High Power Industrial operations, covering market identification, product specifications, development, and after-sales support.
* Lead cross-functional teams, including Marketing, System Engineering, and Product Development, to achieve strategic objectives and ensure alignment with company goals.
* Take responsibility for optimizing gross margins, developing pricing strategies, and building strong business cases.
* Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for high-power industrial products, ensuring alignment with the organization's vision and long-term goals.
* Build and maintain strategic partnerships with module makers, distributors, and key customers to enhance market presence and create new sales opportunities.
* Lead business development efforts to penetrate both existing and new customer segments, leveraging both legacy and innovative products.
* Oversee and contribute to after-sales support activities to maintain customer satisfaction and strengthen long-term business relationships.
* Develop and manage a five-year strategic plan to align with and support the overall company objectives.
* Manage resources, budgets, and personnel to optimize the performance of teams and projects.
Relevant Experience
* Degree in Engineering, providing a strong foundation in technical expertise.
* Minimum of 14 years in the semiconductor industry
* Leading and managing cross-functional teams across engineering, business, and operations.
* Collaborating with Operations, Quality, and Project Management teams.
* Driving organizational goals through a blend of technical and business expertise.
* Leadership and Management
* Strong leadership skills to effectively coordinate resources, including budgets, timelines, and personnel.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among employees, stakeholders, and customers.
* Power Semiconductors and/or High-Power Applications.
* Expertise in sales and marketing strategies to drive sustained revenue growth.
* Results-driven, with a focus on achieving key objectives in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
