Job Title: Digital Solutions Architect
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Solutions Architect to join our team in enabling BASF's digitalization. As part of an international and multidisciplinary agile DevOps team, you will be responsible for transforming operations at BASF sites by applying consulting and latest technologies.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Design the architecture of future digital solutions for Yard Management to adapt to new market trends and best practices.
2. Work closely with Enterprise Architects to bridge the gap between IT Architecture and delivery units in product teams.
3. Collaborate with Product Owners and other Architects to receive technical requirements from product delivery squads and support site teams in achieving digitalization goals.
4. Support solution design for new implementations and products ensuring alignment with overarching architecture and strategy.
5. Collaborate with teams responsible for ERP module development to integrate Yard Management Solutions in multi-ERP scenarios and design generic integration layer for industrial devices.
6. Ensure cloud solutions can be integrated with ERPs and ensure solution architectures comply with cybersecurity rules.
Your Profile:
10+ years of experience in IT with technical consultant experience in SAP technology stack.
Experience in Cloud Technologies: Azure/AWS/Google PaaS, SAP BTP, Operations Platform, Data Integration technologies: API Mgmt., Kafka and SAP CI/PO.
Technical skills in S/4 Hana, S/4 TM, Fiori / Fiori Elements, Restful Application Programming (RAP), Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Java and JavaScript.
Fluent English communication skills, German skills a plus.
