THE ROLE & THE TEAM We are looking for a Senior Article Content Operations Manager in Article Management (all genders) to steer the article onboarding and quality management vendor network and solve individual support requests from internal and external stakeholders. You get the chance to influence an essential part of the Zalando platform and be involved in making the Article Management strategy a reality over the next few years. WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING) You’ll steer the article onboarding and quality management of our external vendor network and own the internal and external reporting on performance KPIs You’ll manage the vendor task queues and maintain the connected tools to ensure a best possible gapless article onboarding flow from end to end You’ll take in and solve high priority support requests from internal and external stakeholders via tickets, email and chat You’ll plan and take part of the incident on-duty rotation of the team to ensure 24x7 article onboarding operations uptime You’ll act as functional lead of a team of article content operators and own the full spectrum of outsourced tasks including process optimizations and reporting You’ll drive process improvements and find outsourcing opportunities to transform operational processes where needed WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF You bring a diligent and planning mindset that keeps easily the overview You possess expertise in operations management and problem-solving, and can seamlessly execute operational processes based on gained knowledge. You are comfortable with numbers, you proactively use data to identify root causes and understand problems. Swift use of Google Sheets and knowledge of SQL is a strong plus.
