Foster growth within the team, instilling a proactive, results-oriented culture ? Be able to step into a leadership role over time and assist in the professional development and growth of the existing team members. ? Provide leadership and guidance on critical decision-making processes, to include identifying issues and driving problem-solving, especially in resource-constrained and a time-sensitive environment Relationship Management: ? Build and nurture relationships with Sponsored Entities, Mastercard and third-party collaborators. ? Foster connections with cross-functional teams within Galileo, including Operations, Product, Risk, AML and Treasury. Program Management: ? Oversee Galileo?s portfolio of programs, ensuring adherence to Mastercard Rules, local compliance, managing product and implementing new features. ? Responsible for designing, implementing, directing and overseeing monitoring of Sponsored Entities for adherence to policies, procedures and regulations. ? Elevate Program Management within the organization. ? Lead meetings with business development and technical project teams with clients. ? Foresee potential challenges, devise proactive solutions, and maintain an environment where informed, quick decision-making is the norm. Project Leadership: ? Manage program-related technical and non-technical changes. ? Run small projects to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness. ? Reporting/Forecasting and operational dashboard design, implementation and monitoring. ? Project accountability, tracking and management. Innovation and Decision-Making: ? Influence decision-making using data and innovation to drive continuous improvement in program management. ? Solve problems, address inquiries, and handle escalations with a proactive and ownership-oriented approach. ? Implement internal processes and best practices for the Program Management team to improve our efficiency as we grow. Onboarding and Direction: ? Lead the onboarding process for new fintech partners, providing guidance within Galileo, to issuing banks, payment networks, and marketing programs. ? Compliance and Documentation: ? Ensure understanding and adherence to regulatory and compliance rules governing the fintech space. ? Document and build processes and procedures to maintain transparency and consistency. Skills ? Present complex information, data, and plans clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders. ? This role requires agility, foresight, and the strategic business acumen to manage complex technical initiatives from ideation to execution ? Maintain consistent and transparent communication, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed ? Strong executive presence and experience advising and interfacing business leadership on technology-related issues, excellent executive-level verbal and written communication ? Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities. ? Exceptional customer skills and effective communication capabilities. ? Ability to lead and influence teams, particularly in a card program management setting. ? Proficiency in software development tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and methodologies ? Proven experience in managing relationships, preferably in a financial services context. ? Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and superior analytical skills ? Building and managing banking operations and documenting processes. ? Familiarity with fintech end-to-end lifecycle for programs is a plus. ? Previous exposure to regulated processes and highly complex systems. ? Understanding of how an API works ? Ability to handle conflict and drive agreement on decisions for which conflicting opinions and input may exist. ? Ability to identify risks and dependencies and put in place plans to mitigate them. ? Comfortable working in a dynamic, ever-changing environment with a sense of urgency. ? Ability to rapidly pivot with shifting priorities ? B.A. or B.S. degree in a related field (Business, Information Systems Management) is preferred but not required. ? Equivalent experience in the fintech industry will also be considered. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate?s experience, skills, and location. This role may also be eligible for a bonus and/or long term incentives.
