In order to extend the service life and added value of plants, use resources more efficiently and at the same time achieve economic and ecological sustainability goals, it is necessary to consistently implement the concept of Upgrade Engineering. The aim of the work is to investigate the data-based implications of Upgrade Engineering informations on the monetary components of the sustainability value. To this end, specific upgrade engineering data will be analyzed and evaluated in order to quantify their contribution to the economic dimension of sustainability. Based on the results, approaches will be developed as to how this data can be used in a targeted manner to optimize the sustainability value.
