Job Description To strengthen our team in Hamburg we are searching for a Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d) Your Tasks: Develop and implement purchasing strategies for long-term procurement goals Identify and qualify suppliers to meet company requirements Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to lower risks and improve project and company margin Manage supplier performance, quality control, and delivery times Collaborate with other departments to ensure in-time availability for ongoing projects Monitor and report on market trends affecting procurement Identify suitable partner for frame work agreements and initiate negotiations Your Profile: Completed relevant educational background, such as a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on strategic purchasing Fluent in English (both written and spoken), additional language skills (e.g., German, French) are an advantage Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a procurement software (e.g. SAP, Oracle) Expertise in contract negotiations, including pricing, terms and agreements with suppliers Experience in the renewable energy sector, manufacturing, or offshore industries is a plus Strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, tender, and finance Adaptable to working in a rapidly changing environment and responding to evolving business needs Our Benefits: Exciting Tasks: Dive into the world of offshore wind energy and work on innovative projects driving the energy transition.
