RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an experienced Expert for our Global Mobility Vendor Management Team to oversee and manage vendor relationships related to global mobility programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and ensuring that our global mobility programs align with our company's goals and objectives.
1. You develop and maintain strong relationships with global mobility vendors, including relocation services providers, immigration firms and other third-party service providers. You negotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure the most effective vendor billing approach globally and that terms and conditions meet the organization's requirements.
2. Additionally, you develop and maintain vendor scorecards and performance metrics to track vendor performance against agreed upon targets. Vendor management processes are continuously assessed and improved by you to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery. You conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors, identifying opportunities for improvement and working collaboratively to implement necessary changes.
3. To ensure that vendors comply with legal and regulatory requirements related to global mobility services, you identify and mitigate potential risks associated with vendor management.
4. You work closely with finance and procurement teams to manage the budget for vendor services, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards. You are responsible for ensuring prompt payment of global vendor invoices to avoid late fees and penalties.
5. In order for vendor services to align with company goals and objectives, you collaborate with internal stakeholders.
6. You stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in global mobility and vendor management.
7. In collaboration with the Global Business Travel Team you drive and develop our BASF vendor steering approach.
QUALIFICATIONS
8. bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field
9. 10+ years of experience in global mobility vendor management or in a related field
10. strong vendor management skills, including experience negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships and vendor billing
11. excellent project management skills, including experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
12. solid understanding of financial reports, global mobility programs and industry trends
13. strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
14. ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment
15. strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
