Aircraft Mechanics for Military Rotary Wing Aircraft Location: Greater Munich Area Your Mission As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for complex mechanical tasks as part of long-term maintenance programs for one of the most advanced military helicopters. Your responsibilities include: • Performing mechanical tasks (e.g., inspection points in maintenance, adjustments, etc.) based on training and authorization. • Technical support during workshop and acceptance flights; operating recording sensors, engine adjustments, preparing aircraft for flight, etc. • Handling and dispatching aircraft, including guiding to parking spots, filling out handover protocols, and refueling. • Documenting completed work in SAP / SASPF as per VA-AA 18/03. • Checking parts/components for correctness/completeness (e.g., types, numbers, part numbers, etc.). • Setting up/testing/maintaining tools and doing maintenance and cleaning work on manual tools. • Executing simple related tasks (e.g., structural work, connection techniques, upholstery, etc.) according to guidelines/instructions. • Performing functional tests (e.g., flight control, tank tests, etc.) and documenting any deviations/results. Your Profile • Completed training as an aircraft mechanic specializing in maintenance technology • Proven experience in the maintenance of military helicopters, ideally with NH90 or other military aircraft models • Valid CAT A basic license, alternatively ATN6 / ATN7 or comparable military certificate • Good English language skills – some basic German will be helpful / willingness to learn German language • Ready to undergo a successful military security check.
