ABOUT THE ROLE
As Senior Finance & Accounting Manager, you will structure and lead the daily operations of our finance team and make the processes lean and easy for all stakeholders. You have expertise in finance and accounting. You are responsible for accounting topics for our colleagues and customers. You have a good overview of our budgets and numbers and will work closely with project leads and the leadership team and keep track of our financials. This is a strategic role that grows as the business does.

What will be your responsibility
As our Senior Finance & Accounting Manager you will:
* Have the responsibility for the entire accounting cycle ensuring the accuracy and conformity of financial statements together with our tax consultants
* Focus on planning processes in business development closely with the CEO
* Run regular reporting for management and support in the preparation of investor reporting
* Hold responsibility for budget overviews and reporting
* Have daily accounting duties with your team including the preparation of customer invoices, collections, corporate credit card reconciliations and assisting with payroll processing
* Lead the extension of the accounting team for new planned subsidiaries outside Switzerland, Germany and Austria
* Take care of our inter-company accounting, contracts and financial strategy
* Keep abreast of accounting principles and regulatory developments, with a primary focus on Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, to ensure the implementation of best practices and continuous optimization.
* Have an excellent understanding of business KPIs, operating models, and processes
* Streamline accounting processes and systems, optimizing the use of our ERP.

What you'll need
* At least Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* >5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related fields, preferably in a dynamic early-stage company or auditing company
* A strategic mindset with strong, hands-on and analytical execution skills thanks to a precise working style
* High execution focus, supporting team members and enabling decision-makers to get things done
* Good knowledge about the Software-as-a-Service business model
* Be a great people leader inspiring our current and future team members
* Positive energy and high self-motivation to get things done
* Experience in working in a data-driven environment
* Reliable and resilient
* Growth mindset: desire to continuously acquire new knowledge
* Fluency in German and English is required
