We are looking for an Engineering Intern (all genders) to join our team and support the design and development of energy storage systems for automotive and stationary applications, contributing to CAD design, concept development, data analysis, and research while gaining practical experience and enhancing knowledge in mechanical design and e-mobility. This position is based on-site in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany. Responsibility: • Support the design of energy storage systems (low voltage, high voltage, module level, pack level) for automotive and stationary applications. • Independent design of parts and assemblies in CAD in consultation with a supervisor • Support in the concept development phase of A and B sample design • Subject specific research, e.g. benchmarking • Analysis and processing of test bench data • Assist in the preparation of presentations Education & Experience: • Practical experience of CAD software, preferably CATIA. • Basic knowledge and experience of mechanical design principles, materials science and manufacturing processes. • Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
