Role summary: Flowserve is looking for a Precision Assembler (M/F/T) for the Ettlingen site at the earliest possible start date. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely processing of production orders while optimally utilizing the available resources, complying with quality requirements and applicable regulations. Your tasks: Preparing the assembly Retrieving drawings Determining the availability of parts and materials according to the production programs Commissioning parts and materials Adjusting the sequence of orders in case of deviations Reporting the emptying of the Kanban containers Documenting the work processes Coordinating the assembly sequence with the other employees Assembling parts and materials according to instructions, checking for accuracy and defects Preparing testing and assembly equipment, repositioning and adjusting according to instructions Assembling multi-layered components Assembling various modules, products, units with multi-layered assembly components (e.g. creation of custom products / initial assembly) Eliminating certain defects Reporting non-repairable defect and passing on information about possible causes to the supervisor or responsible department Transporting materials to the following workstations Managing the bookings in the system When working on samples, checking the drawings, specifying and defining dimensions, materials, tools Manufacturing devices and creating templates for the part production Assembly of complex products Assembling electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and/or electronic parts according to drawings Specifying and carrying out cabling/piping according to the operational plan Carrying out intermediate tests, e.g. leakage tests Documenting and forwarding assembly instructions Assembling individual devices / samples / new products according to drawings (sketches) and, if necessary, oral instructions. Clarifying deviations with the specialized departments and external customers. Assembling individual devices according to sketches, drawings or circuit diagrams Assembling various components, products, complex units (e.g. manufacturing custom products / initial assembly) Eliminating certain defects Reporting faults and their possible causes to the supervisor or specialized departments Transporting materials to certain workstations Manufacturing labels Quality assurance Checking the functionality, quality and completeness of the respective assembly components based on instructions Identifying defects in components, products and units (e.g. tolerance deviations, failures, incorrect parts, condition, leakage) Eliminating defects by replacing or readjusting parts Documenting defects based on type and frequency Recommending corrective measures Identifying weak points in the assembly sequence, making improvement suggestions Maintenance tasks Carrying out maintenance and cleaning Keeping the workplace tidy and clean Your profile: Successfully completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic Skilled metal worker Solid knowledge of pneumatic and electropneumatic systems Fluency in written and spoken German Flexibility Ability to work in a team Responsible behaviour We offer: Interesting and varied tasks in an international and innovative company.
