The Section IT Business Solutions Finance delivers business value through the management of IT products including execution of change projects for all Finance departments of Munich Re’s Reinsurance Divisions worldwide. As the Senior Product Manager you are managing our global SAP FS-RI solution with highly integrated SAP and non SAP components. You are managing the demand process and steer the external provider who is maintaining our solution. Your responsibility includes the secure, stable and compliant operation of the system.This position will be located in Munich.Your JobManagement of global IT products in the area of financial applications for Reinsurance AccountingPlanning and aligning product roadmap with solution architecture and business on basis of target architecture, including necessary technical and security refactoring Responsibility for a stable run of the products, including setup and management of all relevant processes for run, support, incident and monitoring - aligned with the needs of the business. In case of major incidents escalation and management of solutions.Updating all information to run and develop the products including SLA with businessConducting and updating compliance procedures and checking that the products are running secure and compliant including all aspects of VAIT (regulatory requirements for IT)Constant check of incident volume (incl. root causes) and infrastructure settings to setup necessary improvement measuresManaging and steering of the external vendorsManagement of product costs and budgetsAligning wit all other IT services involvedManagement of software licenses needed for the productYour ProfileUniversity degree, preferably in Computer engineering / IT or similar qualificationSeveral years of experience in IT application development and hence in-depth knowledge of the entire software development and product life cycle Track record of successful managing and steering of external providersTrack record of successful implementations that delivered value to the businessDeep knowledge of SAP Modules, ideally FS-RIStrong analytical and communication skillsCollaborative working style creating a culture of accountability and sharing Experience in the management of diverging interests of various stakeholders, ability to set priorities in a pragmatic and efficient way A high degree of commitment and the willingness and ability to master the various tasks Fluent spoken and written English as well as willingness to travel internationallyPreferably good written and verbal communication in GermanApplication InstructionsIn order to consider your application, we require your application to be submitted via our online applicant portal.
