Your responsibilities
As CFO of the Business Unit Solutions, you will be a key strategic partner to the global leadership team while directly managing three Chief Financial Officers. You will oversee global finance, controls, and accounting functions, working closely with regional finance teams to drive financial excellence. Your key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing financial and operational strategies aligned with business objectives
* Overseeing global finance functions, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, GAAP standards, and financial controls
* Driving digital transformation in financial management, including forecasting, cost accounting, budgeting, and reporting, including the implementation of modern productivity applications and local ERP systems
* Collaborating with operational teams to optimize profit margins and cashflows
* Supporting the Business Unit CEO with data-driven insights and strategic analysis
* Leading talent strategy to support business objectives while fostering the growth of direct reports and high-potential employees
Your profile
* Proven experience leading a global finance team within an industrial manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain services organization, ideally in an international setting
* Strong expertise in business process improvement, M&A, post-merger integrations, FP&A with a strong focus on financial controls
* Collaborative and motivational leadership style, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills as well as strong cultural competencies
* Ability to navigate a matrixed environment while maintaining a hands-on, proactive approach
* Willingness to travel internationally and fluent in written and spoken English and German (additional language skills are a plus)
