Senior Release Manager for System Integration Department (all genders)Your Mission: You will work within the System Integration Department, joining a team of tech and automotive enthusiasts responsible for integrating and delivering the Infotainment Software System with the highest quality standards and functionality, on time.As a Senior Release Manager, you will plan and track releases until they’re handed over to customers. You will establish and improve software release processes, request software deliverables from development teams, and present the whole package in release handover meetings. Additionally, you will play a key role in creating branching and integration strategies to meet the requirements of the product landscape.Sneak Preview of Your Future Tasks:Maintain the release schedule for projects and ensure alignment across key partners and stakeholders.Use your technical experience to interface between verification and development teams, Heads of Software, external partners, and stakeholders.Continuously learn the deep system dependencies to enhance your understanding of the system and the release package.Collaborate closely with Build Managers, Configuration Managers, and DevOps Engineers.Work towards making continuous improvements in the overall release process.Manage relationships and coordinate work between cross-functional teams at different locations.Interface with all stakeholders to synchronize efforts against a schedule and deliverables.Your Profile:Education:Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Technology, or a comparable qualification.Experience:Minimum 2 years of software development or software verification experience, preferably in embedded systems.Minimum 2 years of release or project management experience.High degree of expertise and technical understanding of complex IT projects and software architecture.Experience in conducting release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, etc.Familiarity with modern release management tools.Nice to Have:Experience with large-scale agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale).Understanding of challenges and constraints within automotive development projects.Familiarity with the automotive sector, specifically infotainment.Experience with automotive processes, e.G., Automotive SPICE.Personal Skills:Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Proven leadership and ownership.Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.Proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting.Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Personal initiative, commitment, perseverance, and resilience.Proficient in English.
