In this role you will support the IP team to craft best-in-class IP strategies through leveraging advanced analytics and AI to enable data-driven decision making. You will be responsible for managing advanced analytics projects from data extraction through to analytics and insights generation, as well as incorporating search intelligence into appropriate software tools, screening and monitoring the external environment to evolve IP search strategies and tools.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Acquire a deep understanding of patent data, data connections and build the data related foundation to develop algorithms for advanced analytics.
• Understand how IP search requests are structured, refined and analyzed to support freedom-to-operate and validity searches
• Develop advanced algorithms to ensure thorough and accurate search of relevant literature.
• Extract data from health authority and regulatory agencies websites, transforming, cleaning and analyzing large data sets.
• Identify and implement automation of reoccurring data requests.
• Act as key partner for all Intellectual Property/Data Integration related questions from internal and external sources.
• Integrate output of historic searches into data tools to enable easy retrieval and management of information, e.g. keyword search, text mining.
• Perform search requests in small molecules, using a variety of databases, consolidating findings of patent and non-patent literature in structured reports
