EU STEP Data and Analytics (DnA) seeks a Sr Technical Program Manager who can combine strategic vision with collaborative and analytical skills to build the EU middle mile transportation network. In this role you will contribute as part of a data and analytics team in our EU headquarters to help deliver customer packages faster, more reliably, and at a lower cost while ensuring a long-term vision. You would be a great fit for this role if you enjoy and excel at: - Thinking Strategically and develop 3-year plans across different organizations - Autonomously coming up with and quickly implementing innovative and disruptive ideas - Continuously learning new skills and knowledge areas to grow, develop, and better serve our customers - Influencing a broad set of stakeholders and working with diverse and dynamic teams across Europe - Solving analytical problems and drawing conclusions from large complex data sets - Managing a team and coaching and developing colleagues to build a stronger team Key job responsibilities In this job you will: - Follow tech program management introduction best practices and work backwards; - Change, add, remove products from the portfolio; - Ensure products are working in all the aspects (data accuracy, automation, features); - Be the voice of the customer and articulate their needs; - Identify new ideas proactively; - Evaluate new features from the technical point of view to understand the impact in development required; - Balance business expertise, product management and technical understanding. - Work with project managers on development, launch process, beta product, acceptance criteria. - Influence the strategic direction (business and technology) and engineering org priorities; - Establish/simplify processes to ensure product meets customer needs. (e.g., roadmap prioritization, product lifecycle) and audit mechanisms (e.g., metrics, reporting, evaluation standards). Mitigates risks to segment adoption. - Create program strategies and roadmaps spanning short, medium and long term time frames and influencing NA and ROW. Basic Qualifications - Experience in technical product or program management - Experience working directly with engineering teams - Experience in software development - Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications - Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
