Our team in Leipzig currently has an opening for a Commercial Director Electronics EMEA (Germany based), m/f/d.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities:
* Ensure an up to date and in depth Electronics industry knowledge including good product and supplier knowledge in the semiconductor industries.
* Direct Sales, SPM, and other priorities and activities to manage a productive, cohesive & high performing team.
* Develop go to market strategies and detail tactical plan.
* Provide intelligence to inform Industry Marketing strategy, white space analysis, chess board management, and M&A prioritization.
* Identify innovation opportunities based on supplier and customer knowledge.
* Develop and build global key account relationships in the region.
* Partner with Regional Managing Director and other Regional Directors to determine and implement regional strategies and to identify synergies across Industry sub-segments.
* Actively help to identify potential M&A targets.
* Partner with President Electronics and other Industry Directors to determine and implement industry strategies and to identify synergies across countries.
* Be mindful of potential supplier-customer issues and lead resolution and, when necessary, escalation.
* Lead sustainability efforts.
YOUR PROFILE
Job Requirements:
* Minimum University degree in Material Sciences, Electronics or equivalent, MBA preferred.
* Several years of professional experience in senior leadership in the Electronics industries and preferably semiconductor industries.
* Familiarity with Electronics chemicals and chemical distribution industry.
* In depth understanding of Electronics Supply Chain and Ecosystem including business growth levers.
* Possess strategic leadership with ability to be involved in day to day details and execution.
* Strategic visioning capability, and able to translate strategy into actionable roadmap and initiatives.
* Strong project management capability to manage different stakeholders’ expectation and deliver the project.
* Ability to communicate, collaborate effectively, and push things through across a global, matrixed organization.
