Senior Finance Manager Germany (m/f/d) MedTech, Hamburg Johnson & Johnson MedTech Germany is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to co-pilot one of our three Business Unit. In this role you lead, shape and ensure the delivery of the financial agenda, acting as a highly valued business partner to the Business Unit (BU) Leadership Team and as critical member of Finance Team. This includes the development, execution and review of strategies and action plans to improve the value of our portfolio and go-to-market models. Taking a lead-role in the planning of revenue, allocation of resources and the management of the financial risks and opportunities. Improving current practices and developing new solutions and strategies to strengthen the financial knowledge and operating performance. You provide guidance to one direct report. Main responsibilities: - As a key member of the BU Leadership Team, you will be the sparing partner for the VP and GM responsible for one of the business units in J&J EMEA collaborating with senior leadership members to drive business decisions and Go-To-Market business model changes upon a deep understanding of current and emerging market trends, customer needs and long- term financial benefits - Develop business plan and forecasts in close partnership with the commercial organization, engage in BU strategy execution, ensuring appropriate target setting and resourcing behind strategic priorities - Ensure the delivery of the financial commitments, balance risks and opportunities and actively partner with the BU leadership team and associated functions - Global, EMEA region and German market. - Collaborate with the regional Finance center of excellence FP&A & Tax and Global Services Finance in support of month-end closing, reporting and planning cycles, ensuring all compliance requirements (SOX, HCC/HCBI/IAPP) are met - Actively participate in regional finance projects to help shape the finance function for the future. This includes the major Finance transformation project "SigniFi" with the implementation of SAP S/4Hana and other analytic systems - This position is highly visible in the organization and has strategic important to the success of the overall EMEA business. Therefore it is imperative to be able to build and maintain strong and trusted relations with relevant internal and external senior stakeholders. - Provide managerial guidance to one Finance Analyst, actively engage in attracting and developing talent and improving the power of diversity and inclusion; act as a senior leader in German Finance organization to drive impact and influence. - Other ad-hoc tasks and initiatives/projects as required Qualifications - A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required; MBA or CMA is a plus - A minimum 8 years of experience in Finance or/and Commercial is required, including proven track record in leading teams and collaborating with senior management, driving new initiative with positive impact in the business, preferable in a multinational multi-matrix environment - A commercial mindset with a strong financial backbone, with proven track record in managing a P&L and influence fact-based decision making - Strong collaborative, communication and interpersonal skills.
