Safran Helicopter Engines Germany GmbH is a global manufacturer of gas turbine engines and a wholly owned subsidiary of Safran Helicopter Engines based in Bordes, France. In Hamburg, we provide customer services and commercialization to many countries in Central, Northern and Eastern Europe as well as Central Asia. The geographical area we serve covers over 300 customers in both civilian and military segments, totaling nearly 2,200 engines. Currently, our new facility, HanSafran, is being built on approximately 6,000 square meters, emphasizing our principles of growth and sustainability. With the use of solar panels, a green roof, and an energy-efficient heating and cooling system, we aim to operate climate-neutrally at Nordport in Norderstedt. And now it is your turn to join us!

… You will collaborates across all company departments and teams to evaluate business data, aiming to enhance decision-making processes. This individual possesses a deep understanding of Safran Helicopter Engines' financial objectives and overall business operations.
Your key responsibilities will include :
•Maintaining existing solutions while finalizing those under development.
•Analyzing market trends and providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders based on findings.
•Identifying opportunities for improvement and presenting them to top management.
Your main activities will involve :
•Setting up and implementing Business Intelligence standards
•Providing insightful BI reports tailored to cross-departmental needs
•Analyzing market trends and making recommendations to stakeholders based on findings
•Identifying automation opportunities and implementing them using your project management skills
•Performing feasibility analyses and collaborating with the project management team to prioritize deliverables and negotiate product functionalities
•Providing analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and interpreting the data
•Collaborating with the Data Management team to streamline reporting processes
•Maintaining Safran Helicopter Engines Germany's business forecasting tools (yearly detailed budget, five-year plan, removal forecasts)
•Overseeing the contract performance reviews tool throughout the year (dashboards preparation and project management)
•Implementing a robust system to provide automated sales cockpit and KPIs to the entire company
•Being a proactive and enthusiastic player in the digital transformation of the site (local and international community)
•Identifying, defining, developing, and presenting new solutions to relevant stakeholders
•Providing comprehensive documentation of BI solutions and data structures
•Supporting the successful progress of the company's competitiveness project

•A Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (a business degree is an asset) or a Master's degree in Business with an additional engineering qualification
•Strong experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI
•Good experience with SQL queries
•Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
•Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
•A team-oriented mindset, working proactively in a dynamic environment
•Proficiency in English and French; German is an asset
•Familiarity with the aviation or helicopter market is advantageous
