To strengthen our team our site in Mainz, we are looking for a
Senior Global Autoimmunity Application & Scientific Specialist (m/f/d)
Provides Level 2 application and scientific support to subsidiaries and distributors for complaints, questions or suggestions (remotely or in the field)
Designs and leads action plans for critical situations and / or contributes to the task force related to Application & Scientific, in collaboration with the Level-2 instrument and connectivity support team when required
Facilitates learning plan including training and coaching for subsidiaries and distributors in order to serve our customers (in-class training, delocalized training, remote training, etc.)
Assess quality of training program and proficiency level of trainees
Creates and updates Application & Scientific training modules, distance learning and tutorials following our procedures
Contributes to the product project development/improvement by validating of application packages (maintenance software and tools when required, technical documentation, etc.), and being the voice of the customer/field for serviceability
Helps customer service readiness as part of the go-to-market process and communication to the service and application community
Participates and assists in strategic projects and meetings with key stakeholders (R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, Regulatory & Quality, etc.)
Contributes to continuous improvements to current products and processes and maintains expertise within the team
Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in biology, with a specialization in AID (Autoimmunity and Infection/Inflammatory Diseases)
Excellent knowledge and a long-standing track record in the field of autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases diagnostics and immunoassay techniques applied to this diagnostic
Laboratory experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service positions (i.e. application specialist in the field or within a call center)
Good knowledge of the laboratory’ environment and workflow
Familiarity with IT aspects (systems’ connectivity with each other and the laboratory information system)
Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
