Job Title: Family Advocacy Program (FAP) Educator Location: Kaiserslautern, Germany Schedule: 08:00 and 17:00 Monday through Friday Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver educational programs focused on the dynamics of child and spouse abuse, prevention strategies, and intervention techniques. Conduct training sessions for military personnel, families, and community members to increase awareness and understanding of family violence issues. Offer support and guidance to individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, child abuse, or neglect. Act as a liaison between military families and available community resources, ensuring they receive the necessary support and services. Work closely with military and civilian agencies, including ACS, healthcare providers, and law enforcement, to coordinate efforts in preventing family violence. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Marriage, Family and Child Counseling, Nursing, Counseling or Behavioral Science, Education, or Community/Public Health from an accredited university. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in family and children's services or community organization, with specific experience in family violence prevention. Familiarity with military culture and the specific challenges faced by military families. Must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) of the past five (5) years or, if a foreign national, must have lived in Germany for at least one year to complete the required background checks.
