LOCATION: Augsburg/Karlsruhe, Germany or Bucharest, Romania THE ROLE: In our Linux department, we integrate software solutions in the cloud/server-based computing environment into our Linux-based IGEL OS. Our developers are responsible for the entire development process from planning to completion and specialize in areas such as software integration, development of clients/tools, customization and much more. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain a Windows service to keep IGEL OS updated for our Business Continuity solution Maintain and enhance development pipelines for Windows Ensure the reliability and efficiency of the testing infrastructure Maintain SCCM deployment solutions Enhance Windows-to-IGEL OS conversion tools Provide ongoing maintenance for OSC for Windows EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience Proven experience in writing Windows services Linux development experience Deep understanding of the structure and functionality of Linux-based systems Development experience with the Cygwin framework Proficiency in programming languages, including: C/C++ Python Bash Ability to grasp complex concepts and work independently Comfortable with working under minimal supervision Capable of managing complex tasks with multiple variables Regularly takes responsibility for projects Willingness to explore new topics and contribute to designing and implementing innovative solutions as part of a team Interested?
