Could you be the full Procurement Project Manager (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Philip Bernstein, Senior Procurement Project Manager and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to :
* Ensure that the overall QCD target of the WP material under his responsibility is met
* Participate as Member in Project Core Team
* First point of contact for all procurement relevant topics related to this project
* Close collaboration with Supply Chain Lead in the project
* Encompass PrSCL output in the overall picture of the project (availability of the purchaser requests on time and on quality for take-over by the buyers, availability of the material for the 1st train, consolidation of the logistic conditions)
* Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
* Organize and lead Kick-off meeting toward Service Buyer Community for each project at project start
* Challenge new gaps compared to tender commitments, incorporates Return on Experience, escalate if any critical delay is occurring in specification availability, facilitates co-operation between Engineering and Procurement, ask for arbitration in case of conflict
* Publish the specific legal requirements to be taken into account in negotiation, after analysis of the customer specific demand and after decision with the PM to flow down (or not) these requirements to the suppliers
* Establish and agree with the PM on a Project Procurement Strategy (if not done at Tender stage), in line Platform Procurement strategy (panel, LCC objectives, dual sources...)
* Animates supplier selection through Business Award process, asks for arbitration when relevant
* Review periodically the QCD material scope (Work packages) with the stakeholders, establish a robust “at completion” vision, taken into account risks, ambitions and uncertainties
* Establish bridge analysis at each SPR cycle
* Support Preparing specific claims to Suppliers
* Challenge stakeholders (project, engineering, buyers,...) to allow collection of cost optimization proposals in addition of the plan of the Project Procurement Strategy
* Ensures actions are documented and saving calculated in a total cost of ownership base
* Organize decision over and follow up of the proposed actions
* Prepares Review based on standards KPIs to stakeholders (PM level, Business Level, Management level)

* A Business or Technical University degree
* Experience of 3-5 years in similar positions in Procurement
* Sound expertise in Engineering, Procurement or Project Management, preferably in Railway Industry;
* Solid level in Microsoft Office Applications, ERP systems, eProcurement tools, Web-Browser,Planning tools MS project/Primavera;
* Proficient in German and English
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills (Value Engineering, Cost analysis, Risk/Ops, SWOT);
