Position Overview
The Head of Marketing & Strategy (HoMS) is responsible for the technical and commercial marketing activities of the Business Group (direct reports), as well as the BG’s strategic development, ranging from formulation to implementation.
The HoMS reports directly to the BG General Manager, is part of the BG Management Team and works in close cooperation with all Product Groups in the Business Group and all Regional Sales Heads. The HoMS will support the Product Groups in identifying adjacent and emerging markets, customers, application and industry trends to set Nexperia apart from Competition. The HoMS aims to coordinate and streamline all marketing activities across the three different product groups (indirectly responsible).
This is your new job:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the Business Group (BG) Bipolar Discretes
2. Act as the Chief of Staff for the Business Group Management Team
3. Facilitate and deliver the annual corporate deep dive input
4. Lead and develop the Business Group strategy incl. market-, competitors-, and data analysis
5. Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and drive change programs
6. Create and manage market intelligence to identify growth opportunities for the BG Bipolar Discretes business
7. Oversee analysis of market data and modelling of future scenarios
8. Benchmark Nexperia against competitors from multiple cross sections; financial, portfolio, industrial, organisational and technology
9. Design and implement governance framework of Bipolar Discretes business
10. Own ways of working, methods for strategic marketing
11. Develop relevant business partnerships to develop new capabilities
12. Attend conferences and industry events and engage with customers to keep on top of market dynamics
This is you:
13. Degree in Electrical Engineering with proven Marketing track record or Degree in Marketing
14. More than 5 years of demonstrable semiconductor industry experience
15. Experience of working as a senior leader and people manager. Demonstrable mentoring skills
16. Market level expert within the semiconductor industry, understands trends and application on product and system level
17. Working understanding of program management, and experience of delivering cross-functional strategic initiatives
18. Competence in Data Analysis, Presentation and Story Telling
19. Strategic thinking with an analytical approach
