Our client, a rapidly growing and well-established brokerage in Munster are seeking a Senior Commercial Account Handler to join their team.
The role involves inheriting a substantial book of business valued at several million in premiums, with potential for further growth. Responsibilities include managing renewals, allocating tasks within the support team, liaising with insurers to negotiate terms, and maintaining strong client relationships. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, ensuring high service standards are consistently delivered.
The book includes a diverse range of commercial policies across sectors such as property, professional indemnity, liability, and construction. Clients range from SMEs to large corporations, with coverage spanning residential apartment blocks, hotels, warehouses, construction projects, and engineering firms.
Candidates must have 8–10 years of experience in commercial insurance, ideally managing a substantial book of business. A strong understanding of the commercial insurance market, established relationships with key insurers, and a CIP qualification are essential.
This position is based in Munster, with a requirement to work in the office three days per week. The role offers a competitive salary of €80K–€100K, depending on experience, plus bonuses and commission.
