About the Job
The Head of Financial Branch & Subsidiary Management is responsible for overseeing the financial health, performance, and reporting of the company’s branches/subsidiaries as well as for the transformation activities such as Speed2Value (S2V) and BMP. This role ensures alignment with group financial goals, compliance with corporate governance standards, and adherence to financial controls across branches which is currently a gap in our organization. The position involves collaboration with various business units, ensuring that branches meet financial targets, manage risks, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
What you do
* Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and reports from subsidiaries, conducting performance analysis to provide actionable insights for improvement.
* Lead subsidiary budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment of financial plans with group targets and strategic goals.
* Ensure adherence to accounting standards and tax compliance while maintaining alignment with corporate governance policies.
* Track financial KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective measures for underperforming units.
* Facilitate financial due diligence and integration of acquisitions, while monitoring post-acquisition performance to ensure targets are met.
* Manage cash flow and working capital levels, planning intercompany financing and capital allocation effectively.
* Serve as a liaison between subsidiaries and group leadership, coordinating with legal, tax, and treasury teams on strategic initiatives.
* Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, standardizing reporting for enhanced efficiency and transparency.
What you bring
* Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are advantageous.
* 15-20 years of experience in financial management, particularly at subsidiary or group level.
* Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and financial reporting.
* Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
* Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
* Proficiency in financial software and Excel; ERP systems experience preferred.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with strong analytical abilities.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's preferred.
