Our Swiss-based communication responsible leads the planning, budgeting, and execution of communication strategies and initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, foster internal culture, and drive public relations. They oversee content production, community engagement, and event management while offering communication expertise to support marketing efforts.
To expand our communication capabilities across all our entities—Switzerland, Germany, Australia, and the Netherlands—we are looking for another Senior Communication Specialist. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, contributing to communication objectives and enhancing our brand presence globally.
Tasks
* Steer operational communications and make strategic comms projects happen
* Craft internal communication campaigns and international, cross-cultural messaging
* Lead content generation efforts that keep visuals on point
* Streamline processes and deliver polished communication plans
* Drive social media strategies and manage high-stakes posts
* Tackle press releases, build media buzz, and shape public perception
* Pull off event projects with multiple stakeholders
Requirements
Must-Have Hard Skills
* English native speaker—You’ll need to expertly navigate intricate international communication; “quite good English” won’t cut it here, unfortunately.
* Five to eight years of experience in a corporate communications role
* Making stunning visuals that level up the company’s look
* Dreaming up, storyboarding, and producing next-level videos with cool effects
* Writing high-stakes content (like speeches and press releases) that hit the right tone
* Turning audience insights into big-picture communication plans
Must-Have Soft Skills
* Sharing ideas effectively, adapting to your audience, and reading the room
* Being a hands-on team player, ready to lend a hand when needed
* Striving for quality, taking full responsibility for your work
* Tackling tough problems, figuring out what works, coming up with smart solutions
* Bringing order to projects, keeping things running smoothly, and managing risks
* Identifying key stakeholders, keeping them engaged, and honoring commitments
* Setting priorities and sticking to them—or adjusting them as needed.
