Could you be the full-time Site Global Planning Director (f/m/d) in Bautzen? We’re looking for you!
Your Future Role
In Bautzen, 1,200 colleagues manufacture S-Bahn, tram, and light rail vehicles, as well as high-speed trains, with a focus on final assembly, commissioning, and delivery. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. In this position, you’ll report to the Site Managing Director and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to :
* Manage all facets of planning within a large train manufacturing site (more than 10 different products/projects in parallel), in close coordination with other sites, departments, product lines, Group Planning, Project Management, and regions.
* Coordinate all planning activities across departments (Project Management, Production, Testing, Development, Production Engineering, Infrastructure, Logistics).
* Ensure the “On Time Delivery” of Customer contractual milestones for all Projects.
* Ensure time coherency between different functions, axes (project management, development, programs, operations), layers (strategic, tactical, operational) for all recurrent and non-recurrent planning activities.
* Define and update planning capacity models (especially headcount and skills).
* Define and coordinate training curricula, Planning Academies, mentoring programs, and Project Planning certification.
* Ensure proper integration and coordination of Project schedules and Operations schedules.
* Maintain an End-to-End vision across Operational, Tactical, and Strategic levels of planning.
* Define and update Capacity and Resources Management processes.
* Define planning tools and data application landscape, including application and integration rules for sub-schedules.
* Manage workload consolidation and provide relevant tools and templates.
* Responsible for achievable and winning planning for bids, including main milestones and risks.
About All About You

* Successful graduation in engineering or business (mandatory: bachelor; desirable: master or diploma).
* Minimum 10 years experience in Planning, Project Management, or Production roles, especially in scheduling processes and tools.
* Proficiency in MS Office and planning tools such as Planisware, Primavera, and Microsoft Project.
* Good experience in the Railway Industry or Construction; knowledge of Alstom-specific products and processes is desirable.
* Experienced management skills: results-driven personality and decision-maker.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including interfacing with senior management.
* Strategic, rigorous, multi-tasking, collaborative, accountable, and transparent; ability to build consensus.
* Comfortable working in a matrixed, international environment.
* Fluent in German and English (minimum C1 level).
