What You'll Do:
Criteo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join the Enterprise team as Head of Retail Media Demand DACH, reporting to the Director Activation. This key role will be responsible for leading our Retail Media teams, client relationships and business on the demand side of the DACH region, with a focus on consumer electronics, beauty and FMCG. As we evolve our business in 2025, the Head of Retail Media Demand will be critical to build and maintain strong client relationships, maximize growth opportunities and scale Criteo's revenues. The role will preferably be based in Munich or Düsseldorf, alternatively in Berlin. The role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
* You lead your team to work closely with our largest existing clients and prospects on the Retail Media demand side, in order to secure existing revenues, win new business and increase the adoption of our Retail Media demand solutions.
* Direct leadership of 4 Retail Media Sales Managers, each focused on dedicated verticals and the related retailers within Criteo's portfolio. In addition, you will indirectly lead the Retail Media Account Strategists in close collaboration with the Team Lead Account Strategy, Retail Media Demand.
* Mentor and guide the sales team to reach ambitious new business targets and work closely with the Account Strategy team to drive incremental revenues within the existing book of business.
* Deliver against revenue growth goals in line with Criteo quarterly objectives.
* Lead by example, being actively out in the market to drive new business wins.
* Manage your team's overall pipeline, forecasting and reporting, ensuring efficient sales processes within the team and other key stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the Head of Sales to unlock Retail Media opportunities sitting within the largest agencies of the DACH region, and with the Head of Monetization on specific forecasting and reporting to new and existing retailers, as well as optimizing their Retail Media offerings based on advertiser's feedback and needs.
* Partner with Criteo's global brand teams to align strategies and share best practices across regions, and contribute to global joint business plans and agreements with our largest brand partners.
* You maintain senior relationships with prospects, existing clients and our largest retailers to influence client strategy and act as a leader in problem-solving in case of any significant issues.
* Together with your team, you become a trusted partner and advisor for your client counterparts, creating and maintaining a strong network within your book of business.
* You represent Criteo at events, trade shows and in client meetings, side by side with your team members and in close collaboration with representatives from other Criteo functions.
Who You Are:
* A very strong track record of selling digital advertising solutions to complex client organization, scaling revenues within a given BoB, ideally with previous experience in Retail Media.
* Existing network in the digital industry, preferably on the brand and agency side within Retail Media, as well as with the largest retailers in the region.
* You are an experienced leader and manager. You've successfully led sales teams, helping them reach new business targets, providing mentorship, and fostering a high-performance culture.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
* Strategic thinking, able to identify and pursue complex opportunities on behalf of Criteo to drive and scale revenues within your team's portfolio of prospects and existing clients.
* 100% client centric approach with the ability to listen well, to always put the customer's needs and goals at the center and to build strong partnerships on behalf of Criteo.
* Strong team player, able to build and maintain strong relationships within Criteo's organization as well as with our brand, agency and retailer clients.
* Must be fluent in German and English.
