Head of Sales (f/m/x)
Our client is a PE packed industrial player in Germany. We are exclusively supporting them to recruit their next Head of Sales. In this role you will drive the maximization of revenue in the specific market, implement and lead the sales strategy and expansion of customer relationships.
We are looking for a people leader, someone who can lead and develop the team to consistently deliver results, bringing structure, analytics, and leadership to the organization to achieve their goals.
What you will be responsible for:
* Forming, leading, and developing high performing teams at different locations
* Develop and implement sales and business development strategies
* Create and ensure compliance with budget planning, taking into account existing and future requirements
* Analyse market and segment trends and implement them in the sales strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation
* Implement projects taking into account the company's entire value chain
* Conducting product and customer analyses as a basis for defining target customers and focus products to steer sales activities effectively
* Simplifying and increasing the efficiency of the respective processes and structures, as well as the supporting processes and systems (especially CRM)
* Anchoring and tracking of the defined sales goals in the Annual Operating Plan and 5Y Plan for effective management of all sales activities with focus on optimization of portfolio
* Ensure integration of order processing into the value creation process
* Performing acquisition tasks/customer contacts with relevant existing customers and potential new strategic customers
What you bring technically:
* Degree in business administration, economics, and/or technology
* Several years of leadership experience managing teams in production companies (must have) in international B2B environments
* Sound experience in change management and an affinity for numbers
* Excellent communication skills and able to present and collaborate across the whole organisation
* Fluency in English and German
