A Field Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling a company's products or services directly to customers in the field, outside of the company's office environment. This role typically involves traveling to meet with prospective and existing customers, demonstrating products, to determine their needs and advise them on suitable products or solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing sales deals. Field Sales Representatives are essential in driving business growth by establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions. The representatives try to track down potential customers and win them as new customers for the company. In addition to specific customer data and addresses, they also collect information about customers' needs, wishes, requirements, ideas and expectations. These findings can be incorporated into product development and marketing as well as being used in the development of the sales strategy.
What You’ll Do
* Manage, expand, and maintain existing customer relationships in Eastern Germany
* Acquire new customers
* Customer support both internally and externally, project management for customer projects
* Responsibility for sales and profitability in the assigned region
* Market observation and competition monitoring
What You’ll Bring
* Completed bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification (e.g., technician, business professional with technical affinity)
* Experience in B2B business is desirable; experience in field sales is a must
* Good time- and self-management skills
* Knowledge of sales and conversation techniques
* Willingness to travel up t 80% for customer visits and trade fair events
* Proficient in the use of common MS Office applications
* Conceptual and analytical skills combined with entrepreneurial thinking and action
* Foreign language skills are an advantage
