You are a passionate Software Architecture professional, who is enthusiastic about automotive electronics and wants to define the future E/E Systems and in-cabin user experience.
As Principal E/E Software Architect, you are an expert in the full vehicle E/E Software system, and you have a good high-level understanding of all domains. In our E/E Architecture Lab, you will drive the analysis of E/E Software architecture trends and technologies across global markets, key customers, and suppliers. With your peer software architects, you will design future vehicle E/E Software architecture and product concepts.
What You Will Do:
* Full vehicle E/E Software architecture SME analysing future Software architecture trends and developing technology roadmaps and product concepts.
* Software architect for Chassis/Powertrain/Body/SOA domains.
* Collaborate with product line SMEs, customers, and suppliers and analyse, identify, and establish industry benchmark E/E Software architecture design principles and best practices.
* Develop innovative E/E and Chassis/Powertrain/Body/SOA domain software architecture for the HARMAN Auto One reference car in close collaboration with the product line architects and the E/E Architecture Lab domain architects.
* Support technology partner and M&A analysis.
What You Need:
* Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or comparable experience.
* Strong background (8 years) in automotive software architecture and in Chassis/Powertrain/Body/SOA domains.
* Core expertise in all E/E Software architecture domains and its cross interactions including vehicle-level system partitioning, vehicle function allocations and system integration.
* Technical leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire people.
* Good understanding of standards – ISO26262, ISO21434.
* Experience in UML and respective tooling.
* Understanding of Automotive service-oriented architectures (SoA) like SOME/IP, DDS etc.
* Understanding of integrating spatial and temporal isolated Chassis, Powertrain, and Body domain applications.
* Understanding of automotive in-vehicle network interfaces like Ethernet, CAN, LIN, etc. and sensor interfaces like PSI-5, SENT etc.
* Understanding of automotive sensors and actuators in the Chassis, Powertrain and Body domain.
* Understanding of Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR, safety island, model-based application development (MATLAB, Rhapsody, etc.), Signal to Service.
* Experience developing ASIL safety concepts and decomposition.
