Danaher is seeking a Regional Leader, Europe (f/m/d) for its Labor and Employee Relations (LER) Center of Excellence who is responsible for driving our LER COE mission in Europe: To transform the way labor and employee relations services are provided with fairness, expertise, experience, efficiency and professionalism. The Regional Leader must be able to do so in a process oriented function, with intentional governance, roles, and responsibilities, that relies on data based decisions around continuous improvement and deployment.
The LER COE Regional Leader for Europe will also provide creative and effective recommendations and solutions for challenging and sensitive labor and employee relations matters that support a positive and fair workplace culture consistent with Danahers Code of Conduct and Core Values. This leader must be able to drive our functional strategy and operational solutions and build strong relationships in order to advise and influence stakeholders across the region including employee representatives such as unions and works councils. A nuanced understanding of labor relations, including as to various employee representative structures, and constructive and effective management of such relationships is essential.
This position is part of the Labor & Employee Relations function within the Human Resources function and will be remote based.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Deliver core labor and employee relations services effectively and efficiently to across all Operating Companies in a matrixed environment.
2. Ensure the LER COE EU team meets operational, quality, and service level requirements within core LER COE Pillars, including investigations, individual and group separations and performance management.
3. Build and develop positive and partnering culture with employee representative bodies and play a key and influencing role in critical exchanges with group level employee representative structures for Danaher to achieve business performance, employee engagement and legal compliance.
4. Serve as escalation point regarding Europe LER issues by leveraging deep technical knowledge to provide guidance and recommendations in sensitive and complex LER matters consistent with company policies and core values in support of desired workplace culture.
5. Analyze case data to improve LER service efficiencies, identify trends, solve problems, and develop scalable best practices to promote organizational effectiveness in LER service delivery through workflows, process oriented solutions, and effectively
