We are looking for a Director Finance Business Partner Vertical In Center on. The position is located in the Finance Business Partner Team In Center, part of Care Enablement Finance PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The incumbent will be supporting the Head of Financial Business Partnering In-Center by collaborating across multiple functions to provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives. The role will require the individual to deeply understand the product portfolio, market environment and business model as well as the underlying data with the aim to provide finance support directly to the business leads of In-Center. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide recommendations to senior management (Vertical & Value Stream leads) to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities - Drive and support growth initiatives within In-Center: Partners with the business in supporting strategic growth plans both near and long term, assisting with business case modelling and providing thought leadership - Drive and support effective cost management and efficiency efforts: Partners with the business in initiatives in the areas of R&D efficiency, portfolio management, organizational efficiency etc. - Responsibility for reviewing Vertical P&L as well as In-Center's commercial performance - Preparation and review of business cases (R&D, Manufacturing, Commercial, Acquisitions) at each stage (before the actual decision-making meeting takes place) and support approval of business cases across different approval bodies (GCC, CE IC, GIC, MB and SB as relevant) - Collaborate with Corporate Accounting and external auditor reg. capitalization of In Center R&D projects, prepare required documentation and update business cases for yearly impairment testing - Drive and support budgeting of projects within the Value Stream and work closely with the FP&A team on cost center budgets and forecasts as well as monthly close cycles - Manage and/or conduct ad hoc projects/business requests as required - Be an active member of the CE Finance and In-Center Team - Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed EDUCATION: - Minimum of a Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (additional qualification like MBA, CFA preferred) EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS : - Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant finance positions (e.g. FP&A, Commercial Finance) - Background in management consulting on Finance related topics strongly desired - Partner closely with senior management to align financial goals against business deliverables - must be able to develop strong relationships and to influence decision making - Apply analytical skills beyond the traditional functions of finance and to bring them to bear on a broad range of commercial issues - Possess strong interpersonal & excellent business partnering skills, as well as the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization - Business planning experience - Development of financial models to support business strategies - Ability to quickly translate analysis and outcomes into PowerPoint presentations - Successfully work with individuals in remote locations and across regions - Be comfortable making calculated decisions when faced with ambiguity and show ability to work in an extremely fast paced, agile, high growth and dynamic environment - Ability to work under pressure and independently
