About the position We are looking for an Hotel Director for Berlin who will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel, to day-to-day staff management and guests. Being the ambassador of Casa Camper in Berlin, the mission of this role is to provide strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations, guest satisfaction and sales implementing a 360 culture of revenue management. You will work very closely with the Managing Director of Casa Camper Hotels and the rest of the Hotel Directors Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Oversee revenue management, encompassing various income streams beyond room bookings, such as upgrades and cross-selling. - Provide effective leadership to the hotel team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. - Conduct regular briefings and meetings with department heads to ensure seamless coordination. - Ensure strict adherence to operational controls, standard operating procedures, policies, and service standards. - Manage guest complaints and oversee service recovery procedures. - Take charge of preparing, presenting, and achieving the hotel's annual operating budget, marketing and sales plan, and capital budget. - Uphold the ongoing profitability of the hotel, surpassing revenue and guest satisfaction targets. - Lead comprehensive business planning initiatives. - Respond to audits, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to standards. - Oversee critical property matters, including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment. - Make decisions regarding the hiring of hotel staff.
