We're a strong, vibrant, and agile global team who is responsible for developing a variety of comprehensive HW and SW solutions for products desired by our customers and markets.In this role You will be the System SW Architect contributing to the definition of a new automotive platform that brings together typical automotive In-Vehicle-Infotainment (IVI) requirements, workload consolidation and connected mobility features, analysing customer requirements, collaborating with the Platform Architect architects to define the proper SW subsystems architecture for our products. As part of your role, you will be also coordinating the support for our legacy IVI programs and the growth of system design experience in critical domains part of our designs (e.g. audio, graphic, AI etc.). In your role you will lead a team of experts to ensure proper coordination for the implementation of a Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) System Architecture.Qualifications:Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum Qualifications:You should have proven experience in general IVI and Software Defined Vehicle system architecture with distributed topologies (Head Unit, Instrument Cluster, Amplifier, Gateways, ADAS and other ECUs in the car), connected to Cloud Services.Proven capability to convert customer needs into System and Subsystems Architecture requirements.Proven capability to connect the various Subsystem requirements with an holistic Software Defined Vehicle architecture spanning from SOC to connection to Cloud.Solid SW Architecture experience using Architecture modelling tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect) and producing SW architecture specifications.Experience as people manager leading teams with responsibility for product design and implementation.Proven leadership and team building skills.Excellent English verbal, presentation and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to motivate senior engineers and to influence Intel co-travelers is required.Strong networking skills to major stakeholders and partner organizations.Extensive experience with software product life cycle, Agile methodologies.M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field of study.Preferred Qualifications:10+ years of experience in software development in Linux environments.Hands-on software development experience in Python and C/C++.Solid understanding of Audio Subsystem architecture, audio and speech SI/HW accelerators, interfaces and related technologies (AVB and TSN, DSP firmware and Audio driver Linux/Android, common audio and control digital interface - TDM/I2S, I2C, SPI).Understanding of System wide Audio Clocking Concepts and synchronization techniques .Knowledges in In-Car Acoustics and speech processing.Knowledge in Automotive commonly used media stack (e.g Android, Apple, Cinemo etc) for embedded and connected systems.Experience in leading teams both as subject matter expert and people manager.Ability to work with distributed teams, in different time zones.Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience and research.Job Type:Experienced HireShift:Shift 1 (Germany)Primary Location: Germany, KarlsruheAdditional Locations:Germany, MunichBusiness group:Corporate Strategy Office is chartered to support the executive office in driving corporate initiatives, including near and long-term strategy, major cross-group decision making and ensuring cross-company alignment.
