As a key player in our team, you will develop a consumer-centric, innovative, and competitive product portfolio for Bluetooth Headbands at Sennheiser. You will coordinate a cross-functional and agile team, driving Sonova’s Consumer Hearing business growth. The product portfolio is extensive and the business environment is highly dynamic, characterized by a competitive landscape, rapid technological advancements, product form innovation, sustainability requirements, and evolving consumer needs. Your scope will include hardware, software, and contributions to the full ecosystem to create an exceptional user experience (apps, website, etc.).
You will manage the product lifecycle to optimize sales and profitability, capturing early market feedback and implementing changes to accelerate sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and drive Bluetooth Headband portfolio innovation mid and long term.
* Deeply care about product market success, monitoring performance and suggesting improvements if needed.
* Identify meaningful consumer insights through consumer research and deep consumer understanding.
* Proactively seek opportunities from adjacent industries/products to build out offering, maximizing category growth.
* Actively monitor competition and feedback to influence strategy.
* Continuously collect, interpret, and react to market feedback and ensure agile and effective implementation of changes.
* Act as main point of contact for Bluetooth Headband and provide input and guidance where needed and in due time.
* Collaborate closely with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver meaningful and reliable innovation to market.
* Collaborate with focus markets to orchestrate go-to-market plans.
* Pay attention to details and customer experience.
* Consider costs to drive profit.
* Be the ambassador of Bluetooth Headband category internally and externally if required (retailers, journalists).
* Contribute to category strategy definition by providing input on “Where to play / How to win” as well as on market drivers & innovation roadmap.
Your Profile:
* Technical, Business, or Marketing Degree.
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience in International/Global Product Management with a focus on new product development.
* Expertise in product management/development.
* Expertise in establishing new categories and new segments.
* Proven agility in adapting to new cultural backgrounds or new processes.
* Experience in building and launching products connected to a digital ecosystem.
* Strong technical background and business acumen, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Experience of working closely & cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, and Operations teams.
* Ability to inspire, engage, and enable cross-functional teams.
* High sense of accountability & responsibility.
* Innovative thinker with a creative mind.
