As Head Operations Offshore (Area Manager) you are accountable for the safe, reliable & sustainable operation and maintenance of our Offshore assets (grid connection systems) - Offshore assets include Offshore platforms, DC & AC cable infrastructure and land based converter stations.
1. Your accountability includes ensuring and improving the asset quality and asset performance, the operational execution performance (technically & financially) and the operational & organizational readiness for new assets
2. You are leading a cross-location department with 5 team managers and in total 130 department members and we expect you to create a healthy and learning community by developing the team's mindset towards a growth mindset, by developing your team members into strong (top) leaders/experts and by adjusting the team composition where necessary
3. Actively contributing to and co-owning the unit strategy development as well as implementing our unit strategy in your department is one of your main responsibilities
4. You actively contribute to establishing a top class safety culture and an environment in which it is possible for everyone to go home safe every day
5. You will take over the owner related obligations according to German regulations for all operational activities and asset integrity of our assets, this includes ensuring a legal compliant organisation
6. In addition, you are an active member of the German crisis organisation
Your profile and background
7. You hold a master’s degree in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering or comparable. Furthermore, you have an academic working and thinking level
8. You have relevant working experience as well as extensive experience in a leading position – proven track record in performance management and performance improvement

11.
