Purpose & overall relevance to the organization:
To support the Sales team to achieve profitable and sustainable market share growth within the team's assigned accounts and categories, while promoting and respecting the adidas image in line with international initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional
* Support the assigned sales team - and when required - internally represent the assigned customers as an "ambassador" to all functions and vice versa as well as support the management of all interfaces.
* Independent coordination and control of the defined sales task area
* Permanent and continuous efficiency improvement of all sales processes
* Supporting the documentation for the assigned customers and categories
* Preparation and support of sell-in meetings (in preparation and follow-up), monitoring of order entry in the system
* Continuous, customer-specific monitoring of sales and order book to ensure reliable and cost-efficient supply to the customer and to identify and exploit sales opportunities for the customer
* Acquire market knowledge and use it (in relation to knowledge of the competitive landscape) to influence buying decisions that result in sales
* Assist in the development and implementation of creative activities with customers to positively influence brand image and increase customer demand
Controlling
* Measuring the progress of the relevant team KPIs
* Reporting to all supervisors according to guidelines
* Monitoring, reporting and creating actions on client and competitor activities
* Assisting in the creation of realistic plans and forecasts of client performance
* Ensure client compliance with agreements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
* Good business acumen
* Fluency in English and German (oral and written) is essential
* Advanced knowledge of the MS Office package, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
* Team player
* Understanding of retail sales practices and ability to create practical and logical assortment plans based on selling space, stock turnover and sell through.
* General knowledge of fashion trends, colours and the ever-changing retail environment
* Willingness to travel
Minimum qualifications:
* Bachelor's/Master's degree
* At least 1 year sales experience
Experience in sports, sales, marketing in either the apparel/fashion/shoe or FMCG industry.Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation
