Director Business Division Controlling (f/m/d)

As Head of Division Controlling, you are responsible for the business management of the Risk Prevention Division. You act as a sparring partner for the head of division and the functional managers of the business division on commercial topics. You also play a key role in driving the planning and strategy process as well as the coordination with the countries and plants and lead a controlling team.
Responsibilities:
* Commercial advisor to the management team of the Risk Prevention Division and interface to the controlling and finance area
* Shaping role in the target setting process incl. coordination of strategic measures with the countries and coordination of target setting for assigned production plants
* Leading role in the planning and forecasting process - analysis and explanation of discrepancies and initiation / implementation of measures to achieve set targets
* Responsibility for the coordination, control and monitoring of the divisions projects & compass projects, including the definition of strategic measures
* Ensuring transparent and financial key figures along the entire value chain to identify major cost and profit drivers
* Initiating and driving meaningful productivity and simplification measures as a change agent
* Leading cost controlling with special focus on optimal COGS calculation in a multi-stage production process
* Leading pricing analysis and steering
* Leading make or buy decisions and investment controlling
* Leadership responsibility for the controlling team of the division
Qualifications:
* University degree (Master/MBA), preferably with a focus on finance and controlling
* Several years of professional experience in controlling within an international industrial company, preferably in a country, business unit, or corporate function
* Profound knowledge of Cost- and Plant Controlling, preparation of Investment decisions calculation of transfer prices, and pricing analysis
* Profound knowledge of SAP BW/ERP tools and very good MS Office skills
* Strong collaboration skills, intercultural competence, and leadership skills
* Very high analytical understanding and project management skills
* Structured and results-oriented approach to work
* Strong (oral and written) communication skills
* Fluent in English and German
