Responsibilities Collaborate with the teams within Crytek to understand the requirements of our developers to create clear roadmaps for CRYENGINE tooling. Strategic long-term planning and architecture design to drive on-going development. Lead, mentor and grow a diverse engine team and provide an environment setup for them to thrive and enjoy their work. Assist production staff in planning and maintaining development schedule. Review and discuss production priorities, timelines, and scope with producers. Review and approve engineering work performed by co-development partners. Recruit, train, and oversee internal engineering staff members. Work with engineering staff to build and maintain automated solutions for product packaging, testing, and deployment. Support live games with systems and regular Engine updates. Requirements 10 years of experience as a software engineer for games or tools software. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field. Experience working on AAA game titles in a senior technical leadership position within a Tools, Build systems capacity. Strong technical background and leadership skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in C++ and Python. Pluses Experience with CRYENGINE. Experience with scripting languages, visual scripting and entity entitent component system architecture. Shipped AAA games on multiple hardware platforms, including Gen 9 consoles. Shipped a live service game with a large number of concurrent users.
