Customer Service Coordinator - Germany Company Overview: Our customer is a leading global distributor specializing in plastic and chemical raw materials. Tasks Back-Office Support: • Input PF/PO • Manage credit insurance applications and follow-ups • Interface with legal/quality departments for technical documents • Monitor imports and stock control • Handle documentation (Technical Datasheets) • Manage material samples • Follow up on customer payments and send commercial offers • Create SAP customer/prospect files • Occasionally send price quotations in the absence of sales staff Customer Service Support: • Handle B2B orders • Manage customer orders from registration to delivery • Keep customers informed about order status and progress • Perform invoicing and issue delivery notes (DNs) • Ensure accuracy of tax, customs, and regulatory information • Follow up on customer payments • Analyze and resolve malfunctions and disputes • Report unresolved issues affecting suppliers/clients Transport: • Organize transport based on internal customer requests and monitor services • Manage warehouse reception and loading schedules • Conduct spot consultations and negotiate new transport contracts • Design optimal transport plans with partners Warehousing: • Organize logistics operations per internal customer requests and monitor services • Ensure stock reliability with service providers and conduct periodic inventories • Coordinate order preparation with transport schedules • Negotiate new warehousing contracts and participate in continuous improvement projects • Deploy interface tools with carriers (EDI, pre-invoicing) • Perform analyses (volume, cost, benchmark) to optimize transport performance Requirements: • Understanding of supply chain elements and international trade dynamics • Bachelor's degree in International Commerce or Logistics • Successful experience in international commerce or supply chain • Strong communication skills with a customer-centric and solution-oriented approach • Proficiency in English and German • Familiarity with SAP B1 and S4 is advantageous • Knowledge of Incoterms, distribution, and international commerce
