TheBusiness Development Manager (d/f/m) - Hardware Solutionsis responsible for developing and growing the business ofour Hardware solutions within biotech customers directly.Additionally they are responsible for establishing and nurturingthe relationship with main engineering companies operating with ourbiopharma, biotech and CDMO customers positioning ourhardware as solutions for endcustomers.
This positionreports to the EMEA Downstream Hardware leaderand is part of the Hardware solutions salesspecialists team located in Europe and will be workingremotely to cover the EMEAregion
What you willdo:
* PromoteCytiva's portfolio and expertise by engaging with Engineeringcompanies and end customers at early projectstages
* Develop and maintaineffective communication channels to keep engineering companies andend customers informed about new offerings and expertise andclearly articulate Cytiva’s capabilities for Upstream andDownstream processes
* Achieveorders and revenue targets by design-in of Cytiva solutions at ourcustomers via Engineering Companies and develop sales opportunitiesto create a sales funnel to meet business targets. Manage leads andprospects using customer relationship managementsoftware
* Support commercialand technical teams with customer URS review and be the key contactfor follow up, project nurturing and support solutions that meet orexceed the customers’expectations.
* Negotiatingmaster agreements and contracts, including terms and conditions aswell as facilitating tender responses to Engineeringcompanies
Whoyou are:
* Bachelor’sor Master´s Degree in life sciences or relevantfield
* Severalyears of commercial/applications experience, preferably in theBiotechnologyindustry
* Product knowledgefor Upstream and Downstream processes related equipment andsolutions and understanding of Automation and SWrequirements
* Englishlanguage fluent in speaking, reading andwriting
Travel,Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/EnvironmentRequirements:
* Abilityto travel – 40% of time, overnight staying, withinEMEA
* Must have a validdriver’s license with an acceptable drivingrecord
Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein:
* Experience withcomplex project management is nice tohave
