Our work depends on Network Administrator Senior joining our team to support the USAFE A2 1ACOS organization Job Requirements: Design and develop computer system specifications that are appropriate for\ users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's/customer's information systems architecture standards. Create or modify procedures to solve technical problems related to computer systems and programs. Job Responsibilities: - Installs, maintains and evaluates network systems and communications. - Troubleshoots the complex network issues involving various factors. - Conducts network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies. - Provides full lifecycle network infrastructure and administration support for the installation, tuning, testing, monitoring, upgrading, patching, break/fix, and management, maintenance, and administration of the network infrastructure environment, supporting the LAN/WAN across the enterprise. - Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. - May monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption. - May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. - May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists. - May administer network security measures. - Supports all transmission/transport mediums (VPNs, dedicated circuits, broadband, etc.) and works with public carriers and other circuit providers to deliver network services. - Follows designated standards and adheres to processes and policies. - Provides configuration management support in accordance with compliance and policies and procedures, using configuration management systems to record, track, monitor, and update component configurations and configuration items and changes and account for assets. Required Experience: This position requires five (5) years of intensive and progressive specialized experience. This position also requires Germany TESA as follows: - Bachelor's Degree and 3 years relevant experience (or) - Associates Degree and 7 years relevant experience (or) - No degree and 11 years of directly applicable experience Note: Minimum experience requirement will be the greater of position and TESA requirements. Required Certifications: - IAT Level II (e.g. CompTia Security CE) - Cisco Certified Network Associated Clearance: TS/SCI Minimum Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a curriculum or major field of study which is closely related to the work to be automated and 5 years relevant experience, and/or in a computer science, information system, a physical science, engineering or a mathematics-intensive discipline. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
