Mission: The Senior Buyer acts as representative of Entegra in Country. Leads the country Supply Management strategy, to ensure the effective delivery of the obligations we have with all key external supply chain stakeholders (Distributors and Manufacturers) and that meet our clients’ needs.
Contributes to the deployment of Entegra Strategy & Roadmap and in-country Application Plan and works closely with the team to ensure the priorities are aligned.
Is focused and motivated in the growth and commercial success of Entegra in country as well as the advancement of the wider Entegra business, with a specific focus on maximising the commercial and technical benefits for Entegra and for its Supply Management partners.
Main responsibilities:
Supply Management responsibility
Prepares with the Manager the Supply Management Strategic Country Plan, rolls out and monitors progress against these it to ensure that the Entegra Country attains its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible.
Contributes to securing our partnerships with suppliers (distributors & manufacturers) through growth as well as with our clients through supply chain expertise and efficiency.
In alignment with the Regional and Global Best Practices and Deals utilization, runs supply management, ensures the sustainability of the business, closely monitoring and driving the Supply Management Key Performance Indicators and applying all necessary measures to maximise performance to and with suppliers.
Remains aware and informed on market & competitors updates, follows trends within the wider hospitality arena.
Works in close alignment with other departments ensuring clear responsibilities, work streams and communication, to optimise team performance and client satisfaction.
Brand image and external representation:
Represents Entegra to clients, supply partners and wider external stakeholders, including International Large Clients.
Defines within the Supply Management Strategic Plan, the direction taken in terms of visibility/promotion of our suppliers, ensures the Service Agreements defined with them aligns to the strategy and that we maximize the potential of new business through supplier relationships and agreements.
Establishes and maintains effective formal and informal links and communication with key personnel within Sodexo/Entegra and colleagues.
Represents Entegra in negotiations with suppliers to secure the most effective and win-win contract terms.

Profile - characteristics:
Previous purchasing / category management experience (> 5 years).
Experience and network in the Gastro and Hotel industries.
Fluent in German and Business Fluent English (written and spoken).
Microsoft Office Suite and relevant procurement tools.
University degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
Results-oriented with the ability to present results in a structured and professional manner.
Self-starter and organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage projects.
Adaptable, motivated to continuous improvement and start-up mode.
Proven track record and skills in Strategic Analysis and Negotiation.
The position is based in Mainz and also requires frequent visits to suppliers, clients etc.
