The EMEA Senior Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the greater accounting team, ensuring the maintenance of robust financial controls, and driving continuous process improvements. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of financial compliance and the ability to collaborate effectively with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to support the regional business needs. Key responsibilities will include: - Oversee the EMEA Accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting as well as ensuring compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures. - Maintain sound internal controls SOX environment, manage internal and external audit requirements, and assist with other global compliance efforts including balance sheet reviews. - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency and identify opportunities for automation. - Work closely with the FP&A team to provide accurate financial data and insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. - Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to implement best practices and optimize workflows Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred. - Extensive experience (typically 8 years) in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on general ledger management, US GAAP, financial controls. - Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles balanced with keen technology experience around ERPs and bolt-on financial applications and systems - Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a team. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with global differences.
