The Global Pricing Senior Analyst is responsible for the overall management and optimization of the global ocean freight LCL pricing incl. global and regional tender. This includes tender's agenda follow up and awareness, pricing preparation, and pricing team engagement on a “door-to-door” basis in line with ocean freight growth strategy. They are responsible to deliver a complete and competitive offer in line with tender specifications and in line with defined opportunity strategy. This includes: • To manage, guide and steer the pricing of LCL Ocean Tender from Product side. • Ensure quality and completeness of country pricing for origin and destination inland and local charges. • Evaluation of LCL tender (Pricing, Routing & Leadtime) • Consider relevant internal data (including historical data) to ensure full transparency. • Ensure competitiveness of CFS-to-CFS pricing in line with volume and yield strategy • Engagement in setting strategical focus in alignment with KAM and Tender Management • Revenue and GP calculation in line with BIC and GIC compliance requirement • Rate administration and rates library. • Support sales in customers presentation and rate negotiations. • LCL tender follow-up and “post-mortem-analysis” • Making sure PSS/seasonal surcharges/ ETS is updated for existing LCL customers Applicant's profile Requirements: • College degree (Bachelor) or equivalent work experience • 3-5 years of experience working in a global ocean forwarder and carrier network • Proven track record of managing ocean freight pricing. • Strong analytical and communication skills • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint (PPT) • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
